Opportunities for Adult Students:
An "Adult Student" is any student who graduated high school, or equivalent, last school year or prior. An adult student is a person who is older and is involved in forms of learning to finish a degree, or earn a new degree or certification.

Up to $2,500 for a graduate from West Forsyth High School from the class of 2021 or earlier. The applicant must have demonstrated financial need and a commitment to pursue a credential for advancement in a chosen career.

Applicants must be either working towards completing an academic or vocational program. Preference given to students planning to or currently attending Winston-Salem State University.

Up to $2,000 for a 2024 graduate of West Forsyth, Reagan, or North Davidson High School. Applicants must plan to attend a 2-year or 4-year program of study leading to a degree or certification in any trade, technical, or vocational field with a clear career pathway.
