Behind every scholarship is a story of generosity and belief in someone’s potential. Donors make these moments possible—not only by easing financial burdens but by sending a powerful message: your goals matter.. As recipient Karen Bonner shared: “Receiving this scholarship from the Shallow Ford Foundation is a tremendous blessing that allows me to continue pursuing my degree at Salem College... I am reminded that my dreams matter, and my community believes in the power of purpose and perseverance.”
We celebrate each recipient, and we are grateful for every donor who invests in education and opens doors for adult students determined to learn, grow, and lead. Their impact will ripple through families, workplaces, and neighborhoods for years to come.
