The 2023-2024 application period for competitive grants available to nonprofits serving Yadkin County is now closed.
Details:
Grant requests of up to $12,000.
Requests focus on transformative, long-term, and tangible solutions for unmet community needs and interests in Yadkin County. Additional criteria will also apply.
Applications are reviewed and scored by an independent volunteer team of community representatives, followed by a review by the Foundation Board of Directors and the Shore family.
About the Shore Family
The Wayne A. Shore Endowment Fund was established by a bequest from Mr. Shore who lived in East Bend. He cared about Yadkin County, its residents, and the organizations that provide valuable assistance, programs, and services. The Shore Community Grants are designed to fund impactful projects and initiatives that enhance the lives and communities in Yadkin County. This grant opportunity is part of his charitable bequest.
