
This scholarship provides $1,000 per year and is renewable for up to four years with consistent enrollment, totaling $4,000 to support deserving students from Forbush and Starmount High Schools who plan to attend either a two-year or four-year institution. Recipients are chosen for their proven academic excellence, active involvement in school athletics and clubs, faith-based example of service and commitment to living out values of service and positivity —qualities that reflect Norah’s legacy. Preference may be given to applicants who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
For a 2025 graduating senior from Forbush High School seeking a degree or certificate related to a career in trades such as construction, engineering, or nursing. Scholarship awards are sent directly to the student’s academic institution and may be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies, and other direct expenses at the institution only.
Two scholarships are available for $1,000 each for graduating high school students from Forbush High School and Starmount High School seeking a degree or certificate related to a career in electronics, welding, or construction. In addition to entering the fields of electronics, welding, or construction, the student may be enrolled either full-time or part-time and must demonstrate financial need, motivation toward his/her career, and good character (trustworthy, respectful, fair, caring, and serves to make better his/her home, school, and community).
