Lewisville-Clemmons Education Fund

Supporting local schools through community philanthropy.

In response to recent budget constraints affecting Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, the Shallow Ford Foundation has launched the Lewisville-Clemmons Education Fund designed to provide urgent financial support to schools in Clemmons and Lewisville.

This fund directly addresses the immediate needs of educators and students impacted by staffing reductions and budget adjustments. Beginning late September 2025, principals at schools in Clemmons and Lewisville will be able to apply for grants ranging from $500 to $2,500 to purchase essential instructional tools and classroom resources that benefit both students and teachers.

Grants will be awarded based on available funding and the urgency of the needs identified. All awards will align with the goals, policies, and approved programs of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and will be approved by the Shallow Ford Foundation Board of Directors. Importantly, grants will be made directly to individual schools and will not affect future district allocations.

Join us in supporting local students

The Foundation has set an initial fundraising goal of $20,000, and we invite community members, donors, and philanthropic partners to help us meet this goal and fill the gap for local students.

Ways to Give

The Shallow Ford Foundation remains deeply committed to connecting community and philanthropy for enduring results. This initiative reflects that mission by ensuring students in Clemmons and Lewisville have access to the educational resources they need to learn and thrive.
