The Thad and Mary Bingham Education Assistance Award For High School Seniors

Up to $2,500 for 2025 graduating seniors from West Forsyth High School with demonstrated financial need. Two awards are available. Applicants must have a clearly stated desire to pursue additional education toward an occupational credential or degree.

Thad and Mary Bingham were long-time Clemmons residents who loved their community, family, and Clemmons United Methodist Church. They generously gave back in a variety of meaningful ways, including the establishment of the Thad and Mary Bingham Fund with the Shallow Ford Foundation, which has supported many community initiatives and programs including this scholarship for West Forsyth High School graduating seniors demonstrating financial need pursuing an occupational credential or degree.
